WelcomeThe Church of St Columba, Collingtree has been a place of worship for 850 years. Today we serve Collingtree Village, Collingtree Park and a few roads on the South West side of Rowtree Road. We meet on a Sunday at 10am and we always like to welcome visitors and new people. We trust you will find us helpful and friendly. WorshipWe worship in church on Sunday mornings at 10am and you would be most welcome to join us. We sing hymns and songs, read the Bible and hear it explained to us as well as praying for our world, our nation, the church and ourselves. Vision & MissionAs a newly independent parish with its own vicar we have a vision to establish a strong worshipping community serving the village of Collingtree including the new housing developments which will be built in the next few years. Want to know more?Christianity isn’t about going to church, or doing good things. It’s about having a relationship with God. This is what makes it different from other religions. Christians don’t have to depend on trying extra hard to be good, but celebrate the fact that Jesus gave his life in our place, so that simply by trusting in him, anyone can have that relationship with God.
