Baptism

We are delighted that you are considering getting baptized at St Columba, Collingtree.

In baptism Candidates are baptized with water in the name of the Father Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was baptized in the river Jordan by John the Baptist and it is in this tradition that we baptize and welcome people today. Baptism is an outward sign publically marking the start of a lifelong journey as a Christian and a member of the Church Community.

For those who do not currently attend church we encourage you to do so, so that we can get to know you.

Candidates, or their parents are expected to attend a preparation course.

For more information call the Rev’d James Howson on 01604 555020 and leave a message if necessary.
