Activities for all

In normal times a number of activities related to the Collingtree community take place at the school, in the Village Room and the Church buildings.  During the current lockdown, these have had either to stop altogether or have moved online. As we look forward to a return to more normal times later this year, we hope that at least some of these will be able to restart in person.  We are also thinking about new initiatives which might help as we seek to serve the Collingtree parish.  More details on this are on our Vision and Mission page.

Children and Young People

Before Covid-19, Rev James Howson and the Children's Worker Sue Clutterham used to take assemblies at Collingtree Primary School and also run breakfast groups for young mothers and pre-school children after the morning school-run. We hope to restart similar activities for children again once the lockdown regulations allow.

Fellowship Groups

Groups that used to meet such as the Friends of St Columba have had to suspend meeting during the current emergency.  However, in addition to the online Sunday services we also have a weekly fellowship and Bible study group meeting on Zoom at 10:30 each Tuesday morning to which all are very welcome.  If you would like to join this then please email James ( ) and he will send you details.

Other Activities

In the future we aspire to have a men's breakfast and a women's ministry here at St Columba. We would also like to develop a seniors ministry.

We will also be looking outward to help those who are seeking to know more about the Christian faith. In the meantime this link could be helpful.
